Top Paid to Post Sites for Blogs

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

There are some good reasons why I have not written lately on this subject. Firstly, I used to write about the Top Ten Sites, then later the Top Five Paid to Post Sites – not any more.  The supply of legitimate paid blogging assignments has diminished over the past year, and I am now working regularly with only two companies.

The companies that treat bloggers well are now a rarity. PayPerPost, which also runs Izea and SocialSpark, is trying to make money out of the scarcity of assignments by offering payouts of just 50 cents for a blog post of 50 words.  PayingPost is following a similar business model, they all require their code to be embedded in the header of your blog and this exposes the site to the search engines as a seller of paid links.  I feel the levels of payment offered in return for such a presence on websites  is an insult and I would rather go and stack shelves in a shop than allow them to make more money out of my virtual real estate. New Paying Post site for Bloggers to sell paid links

I got an email this week about a new site where Bloggers are paid for reviews: it is called Paying Post.  Good news for bloggers, as opportunities have been thin on the ground lately.  BUT I am steering clear of sites that require you to put some hidden code on your blog in order to get their opportunities. The reason is that, a year ago, Google targeted sites that accepted paid blog entries, known as paid links, from PayPerPost.  These bloggers were accused of giving a share of their page rank to the site paying for a link, and they were traced using the code that was embedded in the blog as a requirement from PayPerPost. The payback was that Google removed the page rank from the blogs! So unfortunately I will not be signing up my best blogs for this service – it is just not worth the risk.

New Paid to Blog Sites June 08

I signed up for Blogpayz paid to post site in February, completed one assignment offered by them – paying $1.70 – and waited for more.  Then things went very quiet: they paid the money on time, but my dashboard remained empty.  Later I was offered another paid blogging assignment for $2, but at that price it is not really worthwhile.  Today I heard that Blogpayz has more bloggers signed up and they are hoping to offer a minimum payout of $5 per post.  That will be welcome and I hope the service takes off.

Yesterday I did a quick search to see if any other promising new paid to blog sites had popped up nd i came across Blogvertiser. They are in pre-launch stages, you can sign up and wait for updates.  I have left my details for one blog and I look forward to getting some paid reviews from them.

Top five Paid to Post Sites for Blogs May 2008

At last I am updating my personal list of the top paid to post sites in my experience. These are real examples of the companies that pay me to post on my blogs – apart from this site – and how they operate. You can also read my permanent review of the paid to post sites as well, this post is the latest update. I have not updated this monthly list for a long time, many of the paid to post sites that once produced a good income stream are now doing nothing. The main drop in earnings came at PayPerPost. Their bloggers were targeted by Google in November and December 2007, and most blogs’ page ranks dropped to 0 simply because they were writing paid posts for the company. It was easy for these blogs to be penalised as PPP requires a code to be embedded in the < Head > section of your web pages in order to register a blog. The search engine spiders picked this up easily. There were other, more arbitrary penalties applied and they are very unfair. It seems as if blogs were penalised just for mentioning the name of PPP. This site, for example, has never been registered there and I do not write paid blog reviews here. But the page rank of this site dropped overnight from PR3 to PR0. Once the page ranks dropped for my sites that were writing , the opportunities at PPP dwindled and they were paying only $5 – not worthwhile in view of their rules on interim posts. I withdrew all my blogs from PayPerPost in January.

Here are my top sites for May 2008

1 PayU2Blog This is the consistent top paying site for me. It is well run and there is a blog where you can ask questions, or ask for more work! If you live in The US or Canada there are opportunities to test products before reviewing them. This is a good options, as I live in the UK I miss out on that one.

When you go to your dashboard you have a list of blog opportunities for your sites. You will also see the date when they should be finished. When the post is written, cut and paste the URL and it is approved automatically. PayU2Blog pays out every fortnight, usually on Fridays. The payment covers all assignments completed up to the prevous weekend so you never wait more than three weeks for payment.

The vast majority of posts pay you $5 for a post of 60 words. If the post is longer or has more detailed requirements you may receive $7.50 or $10.

2. Bloggerwave

This is the surprise of recent months. I had some opportunities from Bloggerwave at the end of last year, then I found that four of my posts had been rejected and I had not been informed. I should have tracked the payments as well. Recently I have obtained more blog reviews from this site, paying $10 each, and they have been approved within five days of posting. They then pay out after a month. For the last two months Bloggerwave has been the second highest paying site for me.

3. Linkworth

This site has the most complicated set of paid blog advertising offers that I have ever seen, and it takes ages to get in and track the opportunities. Linkworth offers In-post ads, sidebar links and pay per click ads. The first thing you see when you log in are your earnings for the month – that bit is easy. I cannot get the Linkworth widget to work, so I have to post the ads in my blogs manually. Some ads are permanent but then the advertisers often cancel and the blogger needs to set a reminder to remove the link at the end of the month. I hope it will become easier to use Linkworth as I think it has good earning potential. It is my third highest paying site, and once the links are posted there is potential passive income.

4. Sponsored Reviews

I apply for a lot of the opportunities on this site, but very few are accepted by the advertisers. Some of the advertisers actually reject the offer but most of them just leave it until it expires. When an offer is accepted, it usually pays very well and that is why Sponsored Reviews is my fourth highest paying site. My latest assignment was related to the niche that my blog serves and the advertiser wanted and unbiased review of their own site compared to competitors. A review like that is a pleasure to write: the sponsor gets a link and I write relevant fresh content for my site – I do not understand why Google thinks paid links are wrong.

5. Blogitive – LinkNerve

Blogitive has fallen away since its heyday a year ago. I logged in hundreds of times and found no opportunities on offer, and this is time-consuming. Its partner, LinkNerve, send me opps by email and they are easy to complete. Payment is almost instantaneous, which is a real plus. I hope this side of the site develops.

And that is it. If you wand to find more information on signing up for any of the paid to post sites, follow the links to my main review. You should also find links to other related stories below this article.

New Paid to Blog sites

After the recent drop in earnings for paid blog reviews, this week I found a new site called Buy Blog Reviews. They are offering bloggers the chance to earn 70 per cent of the price that the advertiser pays for a blog review – this is a lower commission than many of the other paid blogging sites, so it is worth signing your blogs up and see how much you can earn. You set your own desired price when you register your blog, if you have a quality blog with good traffic I would set a price of at least $25 – out of that you would receive $17.50. Buy Blog Reviews plans to pay out 15 days after you post the review, faster than many other sites.

You will not find any paid blog reviews on this website. I have other blogs where I make my , unrelated to this URL. However Google obviously doesn’t undrestand this as it dropped my page rank a couple of months ago for the mere mention of the words ‘paid to blog’!

Bloggerwave payments for blog posts

I went across to Bloggerwave today to see whetehr there were any posting opportunities for the blogs I registered at the site (this blog does not carry paid posts). It has been a long time since I had any assignments for Bloggerwave – in fact, it was last December. Every time I checked since then there were no offers for blog reviews. Today there was a new posting opportunity, paying $10, for short posts on tow of my blogs. I quickly accepted them before they could be taken by other bloggers: there is always a limit on the budget so you need to act fast. Read more »

New Paid to Blog Site

I signed up one of my blogs at the new site, blogpayz.com just over two weeks ago. The site owners have been very active in leaving comments at other people’s blogs so I decided to see how well it would perform for me. Following recent goings on with Google’s vendetta against other blog advertising sites I wonder what the future holds for this sector. Just after I joined the company announced that multiple blogs can now be added to one account, this is an important time saver for busy bloggers. Initial tasks are paying small sums, but I am sure as more clients sign up for Internet Advertising this situation should improve in a short while. Watch this space.

Today I have to look for an Atlanta cosmetic dentist as my wonderful partner has offered to help me get my grey filled teeth cleaned up and whitened before our wedding. Happy day – goodbye to the amalgam, hello to a happy smile. There is no point in going through life with disfigured teeth when they can be fixed easily.

Blogging Profit Tips

This article is not intended to give you the newbies course about hosting, installing a blog on your domain and etc. It will give you some serious advice on your blog business. Bad blogging habits are easy to get into, and one of the worst is to leave your ‘About’ page unchanged. You know the page: it is provided by Wordpress as standard and a whole host of bloggers leave it unchanged. Why they do this is known only to them, because this is the first page that a large number of first-time visitors to a blog check out, and the reason why many of them leave without looking further. Paid Blogging – Top Sites November 2007

I am a little late in posting this report, I am afraid. However the figures are still of interest as November was the first full month when the effects of Google’s penalties for paid links in blog posts really took effect. More than half the blogs where I have been writing sponsored posts have seen their page ranks fall to 0. Initially the October Page Rank update (using the Google algorithm) took them all to Page Rank 3 or 4, but within 48 hours those Page Ranks had fallen back after a manual trawl through any site linked with the ubiquitous PayPerPost. Their required Javascript code and required disclosure statement are easily targeted by anyone wanting to pick out sites that have been paid to blog by Payperpost. And once my Page Ranks fell the opportunities from PayperPost dried up as well.

My paid blog earnings for October were already reduced as the new Page Rank affected earnings for the last six days of the month. November earnings overall were down by 35 per cent against the figures for September. The sums for Payperpost were only 30 per cent of the amount I earned form that site in September. Fortunately some sites continue to offer paid blogging opportunities in spite of the page rank changes and I have listed the top paying sites here.

If you want to find out more information about the way that paid to blog sites work in general, you can read my review of how to start getting Paid to Blog here.

1 PayU2Blog
In November this was far and away the highest paying paid to post site, generating more than double the amount that any of the other companies paid for blog posts. The opportunities at PayU2Blog offer $5 mostly, for a short blog post of just sixty words. The posts are approved automatically, and around ten per cent of the opps are for longer posts, paying up to $15. The good thing at this site is that they pay out twice a month – often earlier than advertised. As I have mentioned before, the opportunities are loaded into your control panel showing the dates when they are due. This means bloggers can plan their workload accordingly.

2. Smorty
Smorty was the next best highest paying site in November. They send email alerts when a new paying blog campaign is available and these pay various sums from $6 to $22 per post. Approval takes a few days and you can only accept one opportunity at a time so if there are more paid opps available you need to write the first one up speedily in order to accept another.

3. Blogitive
Blogitive came good again in November after a couple of quiet months. To get paid posting assignments you need to log in to your control panel and available opportunities will be shown. Once you accept them the time limit is 48 hours, and each post of 100 words pays $5. As long as the link is included there is usually no problem with approval and payment is made monthly.

4. Blogsvertise
Earnings at Blogsvertise were a little lower for me this month, but the individual opportunities are paying slightly higher amounts.

5. Izea
I think I have said it all in the introduction. The available paid opps for my sites with Page Rank 0 never pay more than $5. The admin require a non sponsored post before and after their opportunity, so in fact the blogger needs to write three blog posts to earn $5. I am also concerned about being linked with the site on my higher ranked sites as I do not want their page rank to be damaged. So I am choosing very few opps from Izea now.

There is increasing interest in having nose procedure carried out as thousands of men and women realise that the process is simple and affordable. Nobody has to go through life with a mis-shapen nose any more!
